Since the clocks went back in October, all our club night runs are in the dark. So, to brighten up the winter months, we have been organising some “Winter Warmer, Sunday Socials”!
The third Sunday of every month, from Nov-March, the club meet for a social trail run, from various locations, followed by coffee/cake/brunch.
It’s a wonderful time to explore new paths, socialise with others and embrace the winter elements (although so far, we have been very lucky with the weather!)
We have explored the hills of Tatham Fells, had a Christmasy jog from Bridge House Tea Rooms in Wray, a winter picnic at Gisburn Forest and a river run from Hornby, followed by bacon butties at the institute. We have 1 more session left which will be held on the 16th of March, location TBC very soon. Get in touch if you are interested in joining!
