Bentham Beagles Running Club
Club Championship
The Club Championship is back for the 2024/2025 season with some minor tweaks to the rules. The championship is divided between male and female members. Some important points to note;

Points are awarded based on position among fellow club members in the race.

Second-claim members must be entered under Bentham Beagles to qualify for championship points.

You need to complete at least 8 races to complete the championship

If you complete more than 8 races your best 8 points scores will go towards your total.

Everyone must complete 1 trail race along with 7 others.

A maximum of 2 park runs will be counted toward your point tally.
There will be 1st, 2nd & 3rd prizes for both male and female. There will also be a Championship Momento for all members that complete 8 Championship Races (as many park races as you run can count toward this. The prize giving will be in Spring 2025 on the same evening as the Club AGM.
The Championship is kindly organised by club members Adrian Leigh and Jill Noble. We will post updates to race dates, and ongoing points totals as they are available throughout the year. A full list of the races included in the Championship is below.
