Summer Running

The summer months for running are always a warm welcome (no pun intended!) It means we can get out and enjoy the extra hours of daylight in usually nicer weather conditions.
We have been up each of the 3 peaks, followed by supper at the local pubs. We’ve had some excellent training sessions and enjoyed some away nights exploring local routes as well as our usual Park Run socials.
We have also been attending a variety of races such as Lowgill Sports Fell Race, Calder Vale Supper R
un and Ingleborough Mountain Race.
Of course, our annual 10k road race is always a highlight in the running calendar. It was held on a very hot Sunday on the 13th July. Members either ran the undulating route or helped marshal; it was great to see so many members of the club come together to make it another successful and fun event.
Keep checking out the website for the variety of routes and training sessions that we have coming up in the next few months.
