A Busy Spring

It’s been a busy few months at the Beagles. Our new look Club Championship has kicked off in full force, with the 2025/26 season looking set to be an exciting one. We have had a handful of races already, with Beagles taking part in the first of the Parkruns, road and trail races. For full details of our championship and current standings in each discipline, check out the championship page of the website.

As well as the championship races, some members have been travelling far and wide, flying the Beagle flag in the UK and abroad. Some highlights include Carole doing the Malta Half Marathon, Kevin trekking Kilimanjaro, followed shortly after with a run out at the Lisbon Half Marathon. Lisa and Sarah both took part in this year's London Marathon, whilst Iain and Karen have been getting as many ParkRuns in whilst they were holidaying in America and Canada.

Closer to home, we have had many a fun training session, including our annual “Easter Egg Hunt” which this year took place from the Old School at Lowgill, followed by a Jacob’s join. A fun night was had by all.

We have welcomed a few more new faces at our club nights, and it's great to see the Beagles growing stronger all the time. If you are interested in joining, please don't hesitate to give us an email and pop down to one of our training nights and see what we're all about.
